About Mapping

Mapping can be a valuable tool for organizing complex material.  It allows us to use more of our brain in learning -- the linear left side and the non-linear right. At a glance, the eyes can see both textual and visual information.

All the maps designed for this website were originally created using NovaMind 4 (MAC version).  A Windows version is available as well.  They will be slowly converted to recently-released NovaMind 5.  The maps below demonstrate an overview of mind-mapping using NovaMind4 and were created by Gideon King, developer and owner of NovaMind.  For more information on mapping using NovaMind software, visit the site linked below.

You may download a free trial version of NovaMind 5 which will allow you to create your own maps.  Or you may download NovaMind 4 which will allow you to download any of the original maps (on EMF or any other topic) at NovaMind Connect and alter them to suit your own research needs, or create your own maps.

All the images selected for the maps used at NovaMind/Connect and Oscillatorum.com on the subject of EMF have been purchased or are in the public domain. You may use them for any non-commercial purpose you wish.

If you download NovaMind5 and try to open the NovaMind4 maps from NovaMind/Connect, the format will change drastically.  The content and hyperlinks, however, will be preserved.

NOTE:  With the release of the current version of NovaMind 5, I became a company affiliate.  This means that should you decide to purchase NovaMind 5, there will be a small commission.  All commission money earned will be donated to non-profit organizations working in the field of educating others about electromagnetic fields.
